Wow... time really flies. I can't believe its been such a long time since my last post!
I've been really up to my eyeballs with work. Almost can't remember the last time i had any break. This year just might be the busiest year for me. Hopefully, things will get better next year. I really need a real big break.
To my friends out there, i'm really sorry for not keeping in touch oft enough. Thanks for putting up with me. You are the best!!
Anyone up for a trip to Cameron Highlands in 2009? I'm planning a 4 days 3 nites trip up there. Purely for relaxing & i'll probably sleep my way through the first 2 days. So if you're looking for a break, call me for details! (Pls: this invitation is limited to frens & family only!! ;P)
Wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

My poor eyes......
My goodness! I had a serious allergic reaction after a local branded mooncake. Its horrible. I couldn't breath, and i was sneezing like mad & my eyes swelled like a goldfish!! I'm sure its the moon cake coz i didn't eat lunch & the mooncake is the only thing i ate before my allergic reaction. Its swift, within half an hour after i ate the mooncake. I had to rush to the clinic and took an injection. 3 hours on, i can breath easily but my eyes are still swollen..... :'(
I called uncle after i got my injection to warn him coz he got asthma. I went over to his house & grandma told mi that she oso got breathing difficulty this afternoon after having a slice of the same flavor mooncake i had. I gave them the box of mooncake before the mooncake festival.
Thank goodness i haven't heard that anyone else are having the same problem. I still dunno wat triggered the reaction. I've never had any such problem before. The only time i got close to this was about 10 years ago coz the doc gave me wrong prescription for flu. The second doctor i referred to after the allergic reaction had to give me medic for asthma...
Anyway, i'm real thankful that i'm lucky enough to recognize the symptoms immediately :)
Its sure going to be a great day tomorrow! Like they say, if you are lucky enough to survive a disaster, there is sure to be good luck to follow!!! Hahaha!

Taiwan, Here I Come!!!
Oh uh,
Its been months since my last post & i haven't managed to post my wonderful travel memories yet! :P
Its been quite an eventful year so far.... politics, economies etc etc has been in for a roller-coaster ride & it doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. I believe a holiday is due for everyone.
I'm thanking my lucky stars that i'll be back in Taiwan again this year! How exciting!! Best of all, i'll be going with my family. :)
Last year i celebrated birthday at Kaohsiung, Love river with my sis. This year, she will be celebrating her b'day at Taipei with me....hahahaha
Its been rather boring lately. Will have to find some new hobby to past my time!!

Its a Beautiful Life!
Aaargh........! Its busy times ahead. I've really been procrastinating on posting my travel memoirs..... hahahahaha.........hopefully, i will be able to manage that soon. Will try and post my month-long backpacking trip to Taiwan (Sept 2007) first, to be followed by the arranged tour to Korea (Oct 2007).
Currently busy saving $$ for my next trip & also bogged down by work which will probably take up most of my time in the next few mths. Well, work hard, play harder!!
Its been a really blissful & wonderful life so far......., i've been in love with travelling since forever & thankfully, i've been blessed with the opportunity to travel to many places around the world (Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, France, England, Germany). As i'm a real lazy writer, i'll have to thank eBlog for giving me the convenience of posting my memories here! (Even i can't read my handwriting most of the time :P)
Of the many places i've been, the most memorable, exciting & adventurous of all to date is Taiwan. I love the culture, people, places & food found there. Taiwanese are warm & friendly with their clean environment & heavenly food really makes me feel at home. In fact, Taiwan feels like a second home to me. :)
Enough about that for now. I will give a blow by blow account of my adventures in the coming postings.
Let me ramble a bit abt the current issues affecting everyone. I guess that rising costs of living is the top priority among many of us. The situation doesn't seem to be ending soon and many of us will be scrimping to save whatever we can.
Anyway, i really hope that for those of us who can and are able, please do not forget the poor and the needy. Food crisis is a real concern for everyone and please help by contributing to our ability. Any contribution can make a real difference. If anyone of you have been 'thinking' about involving in charity, 'Act' now! Choose an organisation that you believe in and start doing.
Anyone interested to learn more, please visit the website:
1. www.wfp.org The World Food Programme by the United Nations is engaged in eradicating hunger among the poor and needy.
2. www.wao.org.my The Woman Aid Organisation of Malaysia is involved in providing various forms of support to women and children in effort to eliminate violence and discrimination against women.
I wish all of you have a great day! Till the next posting!
